    The West Walnut Street Firehall, built in the early 1900's, is home to The Firehouse Restaurant. Check out a fully restored 1925 Seagrave's fire engine while you get into authentic hickory smoked bar-b-que. More barbecue can be had at Ridgewood Barbecue, acclaimed “The Best” by many books, newspapers and People Magazine.

    For the finest steaks and seafood in East Tennessee, served in a relaxed dining atmosphere, eat at The Peerless, voted Best Steak, Peoples Choice and Best Restaurant for out of town visitors. A "fresh market cafe" with deliciously prepared homemade soups, salads and sandwiches can be found at Main Street Cafe in the center of Historic Jonesborough.
