All accommodations are heated. Picnic tables, grills, and fire-rings. The heated wash-house has hot showers & all private sections. Campsites are primitive. Pets welcome. A campstore with all your supply needs and food from the Paint Creek Cafe.

Antique beds and patchwork quilts help to add to the old time charm of a rustic cabin hideaway. All of our cabins are furnished with everything you will need to enjoy your stay... Just bring your toothbrush and your groceries! Smoke-free facility. Picnic pavilion, free fishing and pets welcome with prior approval.

Located 20 miles off I-26. 30 AAA cabins are situated in the woods of Roan Mountain State Park. Each cabin has a front porch with rocking chairs, fully outfitted kitchen, full bath with tub/shower, wood burning stove and gas/electric heat. The park provides firewood, bedding and towels. Cabins 21-30 have telephones; none of the cabins have televisions. Cabins 1-20 have a private bedroom with a queen bed and an upstairs loft with two twin beds. Cabins 21-30 have a private bedroom with a double bed and a loft with two double beds. All cabins have a sleeper chair.

Located 18 miles off I-81. Nestled in the woods these one, two and three bedroom cabins overlook the beautiful Nolichucky River and Appalachian Mountains. 8 cabins fully equipped with linens and dishes, non-smoking, with fireplace, large porches, great views, central heat & air and cable TV. Children welcome, pets with permission. Continental breakfast, jacuzzi, exercise room and laundry facility available as well as disc golf and an antique grist mill. PC, TC & CC accepted. L/HA.
