U-Haul is teaming up with the East Tennessee State University and General Shale Brick Natural History Museum and Gray Fossil Site to celebrate the official unveiling of the Tennessee SuperGraphic, showcasing an ancient red panda species previously unknown to science. Join us in honoring and commemorating the Gray Fossil Site, now home to the world’s most complete red panda fossil, during the site’s official three-year anniversary celebration.

Jimmy Martin Memorial Bluegrass Festival

The Hancock County Historical & Genealogical Society will be hosting the third annual Jimmy Martin Memorial Bluegrass Festival in Jimmy’s hometown of Sneedville, TN. Festival site is on Rt#33, Tazewell Highway, just outside Sneedville at the Ken Cantwell airfield. Rv’s and campers are welcome.....free, rough camping with purchase of two-day pass, and can come in anytime during the week of the festival. Lots of specialty booths and food. Appalachian crafts and artists will provide a diverse array of goods.
